Redesign your website without losing the traffic it already earns
Your site still brings in some search traffic, and that is exactly why you have not replaced it. We map every URL, keep the pages that rank, redirect anything that moves, and check Search Console before and after launch. A Southern California web design company based in Chino Hills.

Your site works. It just stopped working for you.
A redesign is for a site that is live and doing something, but not enough. If any of these sound familiar, the old site is costing you customers you never hear about.
How we redesign without losing search traffic
Traffic drops after a redesign are almost always self-inflicted: URLs change with no redirects, pages that ranked get deleted, titles and structured data vanish in the new templates. Each of those is preventable, so we plan for all of them before the first mockup.
Before we design anything
- A full URL inventory: every page, post, image and PDF the old site publishes, plus the URLs already in Google's index
- Search Console reviewed to find the pages that actually earn impressions, clicks and leads
- Those pages flagged as keep: their URL, their content and their topic stay unless there is a reason to move them
- Titles, meta descriptions, headings and structured data recorded page by page so nothing is lost by accident
During the build
- A 301 redirect map for every URL that changes or merges, one old address to one closest new address
- Ranking content carried over and improved, not replaced with shorter copy
- Metadata and structured data rebuilt on the new templates, with internal links pointing at final URLs
- Speed, mobile layout and accessibility built into the templates instead of patched in after
At launch and after
- Redirects tested before the switch, with no chains and no dead ends
- Forms tested end to end with real submissions, not just a page that loads
- New sitemap submitted, analytics and conversion tracking live on day one
- Search Console watched in the weeks after launch for crawl errors, missing pages and index drops

Singh and Sons Tax: a five page site rebuilt as thirty
A Riverside tax practice whose old WordPress site had shown visitors a browser security warning since January. Here is what changed, line by line.

| Before | After | |
|---|---|---|
| First impression | Full screen browser security warning, from January to launch | Valid HTTPS on a domain that matches the firm's name |
| Pages | 5 | 30 |
| Services | One list on the home page | Four service pages, each with its own FAQ |
| Cities | No city pages | Four city pages and sixteen city by service pages |
| The message | "Look no further!" and "the best tax consultant in California" | Plain answers to the situations clients arrive with |
| Real estate specialty | Mentioned once, on the About page | Leads the site, broker license explained |
| Getting in touch | A booking page with no heading | A one screen consultation form that sorts leads by type |
| Structured data | Two pages | Every page, with FAQ markup on twenty four |
| Scripts per page | 30 to 42 | 12 to 14 |
| Accessibility | Low contrast text flagged on every page | Skip link, one main heading per page, labelled fields |
| After launch | Sitemap last updated in 2023 | Managed monthly, with new articles every month |
Redesigns and rebuilds we have shipped
Different starting points, same rule: the new site has to keep what the old one earned.
Singh Law HQ
Leaving its vendor with a shutdown date on the calendar. We rebuilt it on the same domain as a forty four page site, launched five days early, and every old URL kept resolving. The one page that genuinely moved went to its new home by a permanent redirect.
Read the case study →Divine Gifts Solar
A slow Wix site with no city pages, rebuilt as twenty three pages on the same domain so the search history the brand had built carried over. Testing the quote form end to end before launch caught it silently rejecting every submission after the hosting move.
Read the case study →EyebrowSpa
Three threading studios renaming themselves, on a massage spa template with twenty one dead buttons. We rebuilt it with a page for every studio, kept the former name where people still search for it, and redirected every old WordPress address.
Read the case study →Alfa Towing Services
An outdated site with a poor mobile experience and no clear call to action, rebuilt mobile first with click-to-call above the fold on every page.
Read the case study →“Linktech has been instrumental in growing my solar business across all of Southern California. Nezar consistently goes out of his way to help, putting in extra hours to ensure our campaigns succeed and our business keeps growing.”
“LinkTech Solutions built our website and is currently managing our Google Ads and other advertising campaigns. We've already started seeing great results, and our website is gaining more visibility in the areas around us.”
Keep what ranks. Fix everything else.
Preserving your search traffic is the floor, not the goal. The point of a redesign is a site that loads faster, reads clearer and turns more visitors into calls.
Speed and mobile
Lighter pages with fewer scripts, built mobile first so the phone call or form is a thumb away.
Conversion paths
One clear action per page, a short form that fits on a screen, and click-to-call where your buyers call.
Accessibility
Real headings, labelled form fields, alt text and readable contrast in the markup itself, not an overlay widget.
Pages for what people search
A page per service and, where demand exists, per city, instead of one long list on the home page.
Content you can edit
A setup your team can update without opening a ticket for every sentence.
Search and AI readiness
Structured data, a clean sitemap and pages AI assistants can read, so the new site describes you accurately.
Not every outdated site needs to be rebuilt
We will tell you which one you need before we quote, even when the smaller job bills less.
A refresh is enough when
New design on the existing structure and platform. Lower cost, lower risk.
A full rebuild pays off when
New structure, often a new platform, with the full migration plan above.

Redesign, new build or rescue?
Three different jobs. Here is how to tell which one you have.
Website Redesign
You have a working site that is outdated, slow or underperforming, and you want a better one without giving up the search traffic it already earns.
Web Design & Development
You have no site yet, or nothing worth keeping, and you want a new build from a blank page.
Learn more →Website Rescue
A project is stalled or broken: a half-finished build, an abandoned codebase, or a developer who disappeared.
Learn more →What a website redesign costs
Two ways to pay. Both include the ranking preservation work, it is never an add-on.
Where most small business redesigns land, the same range as a new build and sometimes less when the content is staying put. One written price after a discovery call. Typical timeline 4 to 8 weeks.
A custom designed site with hosting, monitoring and monthly updates, plus a $500 setup fee. Good when you would rather not pay for the redesign upfront.
Common questions about website redesigns
Will I lose my Google rankings if I redesign my website?
Not if the move is planned. Rankings drop after a redesign mostly because URLs change without redirects, pages that ranked get deleted or cut down, or titles and structured data get lost in the new templates. We inventory every URL first, keep the pages that earn traffic along with their content, set a 301 redirect for anything that moves, and watch Search Console after launch. Nobody can guarantee rankings, but a short, small wobble while Google recrawls is very different from a lost year of traffic.
How long does a website redesign take?
Most small business redesigns take 4 to 8 weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger sites with many service or city pages, or a content migration, take longer. You get the timeline in writing with the quote.
How much does a website redesign cost?
Most small business website redesigns land in the same $3,000 to $10,000 range as new builds, sometimes less when the content is staying put. Every redesign includes the URL inventory, the 301 redirect map, content migration and performance work. If you would rather not pay upfront, our managed website plans start at $175/month with a $500 setup fee and include hosting and monthly updates. See the pricing page for every plan.
Can I keep my domain and my existing content?
Yes. Most redesigns stay on the same domain, which is usually the safest choice for search, and the content that already ranks is carried over and improved rather than rewritten from scratch. Moving to a new domain is possible when there is a real reason, such as a domain that does not match your business name, but it is a bigger move and needs its own redirect plan.
Can you move my site from WordPress, Wix or Squarespace to a custom build?
Yes. We have moved clients off both WordPress and Wix, and we also rebuild on WordPress when that is the better fit. The platform matters less than the migration plan: the same URL inventory, redirect map and content carry-over apply either way. If you are unsure which platform you need, our WordPress versus custom guide walks through the tradeoffs.
Do I need a full redesign or just a refresh?
If your site already ranks and converts and the complaint is mostly how it looks, a refresh of the design on the existing structure is often enough and costs less. If the site is slow because of its platform, cannot hold the pages you need, or nobody can update it, a full rebuild is the better spend. We tell you which one we think you need before we quote.
Will my site go down during the redesign?
No. The new site is built and reviewed on a separate preview address while the old one keeps running. On launch day we switch over, test the redirects and forms, and the old site stays recoverable until the new one is confirmed working.
How is a redesign different from your website rescue service?
A redesign replaces a site that works but no longer does its job. Website rescue is for projects that are stalled or broken, like a half-finished build or an abandoned codebase, and it starts with a code audit. If you are not sure which you need, describe the situation and we will point you to the right one.
