Dental Website Design Built to Bring In New Patients
We build dental practice websites for California dentists, orthodontists, and specialists — procedure-page architecture that ranks, dentist bios that convert, online booking wired to your PMS, and a HIPAA-aware design layer. Less stock-toothbrush hero, more booked new-patient consults.
Dental website design that handles the full patient journey
Every dental website we ship is purpose-built for the way prospective patients actually research and choose a practice — search, scan, read reviews, and book. No template with a stock smiling-patient photo and your phone number pasted in.
Procedure-Page Architecture
Dedicated pages for every procedure you offer — cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals, Invisalign, dental implants, veneers, cosmetic, pediatric, ortho. Each page is structured to rank for the procedure searches that actually bring new patients in, not generic 'dentist near me' queries.
Dentist & Specialist Bio Pages
Bio pages that go beyond a headshot and a degree. State board–verifiable license numbers, CDA / AGD / ABO / specialty certifications, hospital affiliations, and case-experience signals high-stakes patients need before they book a $5,000 implant consult.
Online Booking & New-Patient Forms
Patient-friendly booking integrated with your practice management platform — Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Curve Dental, Denticon, or Carestream. Optional new-patient intake forms that pre-populate your system, plus secure messaging for insurance verification.
Local + Procedure SEO
Local pack optimization for the city you serve, plus procedure-specific ranking for the high-CPC searches that actually convert (Invisalign, dental implants, veneers, sedation dentistry). Built in from day one — not bolted on as a $2k/month afterthought.
HIPAA-Aware Design
PHI-conscious forms, secure messaging via BAA-ready providers, audit-friendly hosting, and a privacy posture that survives a compliance review. We won't put patient data through a generic Typeform.
Speed + Mobile
Most prospective patients research dentists on a phone between meetings. Core Web Vitals tuned to INP < 200ms, tap targets sized for thumbs, click-to-call front and center, online booking reachable in two taps from the fold.
Built for California dental practices that need new patients, not awards.
If your practice is invisible for 'dentist [your city]' searches, your current site looks like 2014, or your booking conversion is tanking because patients have to call during business hours — this is the kind of build that fixes that.
Not the right fit:teledentistry-only operations, dental tech / SaaS marketing sites, or practices unwilling to keep content (procedure pages, bios, blog) updated after launch. We'll tell you on the discovery call if you're in the wrong place.
Types of dental sites we build
Common questions about dental website design
How much does a dental website cost?
Most dental practice websites we build in California land between $5,000 and $20,000 depending on practice management integration, procedure-page count, and whether you need online booking + new-patient intake wired in. Single-location general dentistry without complex integrations typically runs $5,000–$10,000; multi-doctor / multi-location / DSO builds run $15,000–$40,000+. We provide a fixed-price quote after a 30-minute discovery call. No hourly billing surprises.
How long until my new dental website launches?
A focused single-location practice site typically launches in 6–8 weeks from kickoff. Multi-location and DSO builds with custom PMS integrations run 10–16 weeks. Practice rebrands (new doctor takes over, change of name) where we're migrating content and SEO equity from an old site usually fit in the 8-week range. We work in parallel with your office manager so launch doesn't depend on you carving out giant blocks of time.
Do you integrate with my practice management software?
Yes. We've integrated with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Curve Dental, Denticon, and Carestream most often. The integration depth depends on what API or partner program the platform exposes — for some platforms we can sync availability and pre-populate intake forms directly; for others we use a vendor middleware layer like LocalMed, Yapi, or NexHealth. On the discovery call we'll tell you exactly what's possible on your PMS specifically.
Will my dental website be HIPAA-compliant?
Yes — for the workflows that touch PHI. Forms with patient info route through BAA-ready services (we don't use generic Typeform / Google Forms for PHI). Hosting is on platforms that sign BAAs (Vercel + AWS / Cloudflare via partner BAA, or your existing HIPAA-friendly stack). Secure messaging uses dedicated providers. The marketing site itself doesn't need to be HIPAA-covered, but any patient-data-touching component does — and we'll be specific about which is which on every project.
Can patients book appointments online directly from the website?
Yes. The best-converting dental sites we build have a 'Book Online' button visible in the header on every page and embedded prominently on the home page. Booking goes through an integration with your PMS or a partner like LocalMed / NexHealth / Yapi. For practices not ready for full integration, we start with a 'Request an Appointment' form that pre-populates new-patient details into your system and lets your front desk confirm.
Do you also handle dental SEO and Google Business Profile?
Yes — as a standalone service or bundled with the website build. Dental SEO is a real opportunity for California practices because the competition for procedure-specific searches (Invisalign, implants, veneers) is much weaker than the competition for the generic 'dentist near me' head term. We offer dental SEO as a monthly retainer covering technical SEO, procedure-page optimization, Google Business Profile management, local citations, and review velocity playbook. See our SEO service page for details.
What about multi-location practices and DSOs?
We build for multi-location from day one when needed. Patterns include: per-location landing pages with unique addresses, hours, and Google Business Profile cross-links; a shared parent brand; per-location booking flows that route to the right office; and a content library that publishes once and surfaces across all sites. Most DSOs we work with have 3–25 locations across SoCal; the same approach scales beyond that with more upfront content engineering.
Can you migrate my existing dental site without losing SEO?
Yes. We handle the technical migration — URL mapping with 301 redirects, schema preservation, sitemap regeneration, and a structured pre/post launch QA against Search Console so we catch anything Google starts treating differently after the swap. Practices coming off WordPress with a heavy plugin stack are the most common migration; cleaner stacks are easier. We'll review your current site and tell you what's at risk before you commit.
Do you work with dental specialists or just general dentists?
Both. Orthodontists, oral surgeons, endodontists, periodontists, pediatric dentists, and cosmetic / aesthetic dentists each have different search patterns and patient-acquisition economics. A specialist site needs different procedure pages, different bio framing (board certifications matter more), and different SEO targeting than a general dentistry site. We've built for all of these; the discovery call will surface which patterns fit your specialty.

Dental SEO and practice marketing, built into every site we ship
A beautiful dental website that doesn't rank is a brochure with a logo. We bake the SEO foundation in from the build — and offer it as a standalone retainer for practices whose current site needs the lift.
Most dental marketing agencies in 2026 are still running 2018 playbooks — submit your practice to 50 directories, ghostwrite a monthly blog post, and pray. We approach dental SEO the way we approach the build itself: as engineering work with a deadline. Every site we ship lands with technical SEO done (Core Web Vitals, schema for LocalBusiness + Dentist + FAQPage, canonical hygiene), AI Mode and AI Overviews optimization built in (direct-answer H2s, Person markup with state-board license sameAs, /llms.txt), and a procedure-page scaffold organized so each high-CPC search (Invisalign, implants, veneers) has a page that targets it.
For practices whose current site is fine but isn't pulling new-patient calls, we run dental SEO as a standalone engagement: a technical audit and fix-list in weeks 1–2, a quarterly content roadmap targeting the procedure-specific keywords with real DataForSEO volumes (not guesses), Google Business Profile and review-velocity playbook, and monthly written reporting with what moved and what we're doing next month. No long-term contracts, no ranking guarantees nobody can keep.
We're selective — small to mid-size California practices only (1–25 locations), no enterprise dental marketing budgets, no black-hat tactics, and no practices unwilling to make on-page changes or update bios when doctors change. If that fits, the next step is a 30-minute discovery call.
